oh, well anyways... Devart halfway sucks. XD I mean that only half-way, but Y!Gallery is kind of winning me over. Probably because the community as a whole is much more united than here. I rarely see a bad comment and if it is bad then it's pansy compared to what I find here. Not that I don't like pissing peeps off with my art/fiction, I just don't like to see innocent folks get attacked. And... well... I get so much more response back on Y!. No, I'm not gonna pull some chicken-shit move a whine and complain about how I don't get enough views here and whine whine whine, but it's just nice to be able to talk to the people who enjoy my art and enjoy it right back. It's so much easier to make friends there. *_* I think I'm mostly macking on the nice community more than anything else.

so, yeah still Devart whore, but I'm becoming a Y!Gallery slut.


Oh, I'll be cleaning out my gallery over the next couple of weeks-- not really deleting anything, just moving stuff to scraps. I like all my stuffs (sans 'Hiei the Voyeuristic Hero') and want to share it with everyone, regardless of how shitty it is, so I'm not taking anything down.

what's goin' on ya'll?
sorry i haven't replied/submitted/done anything i'm supposed to lately. um, i was very very busy with work and having a life for a while. seriously, christmas season kicked my butt quite badly and i had been trying this whole 'who knows how long your family's going to be around, better appreciate them while you still can' thing so there was less time spent on the net.

ok, quick overview of what's going on right now and an estimate of when i'll be back:
work+family time explains december through early january
over work(inventory)+school explians the rest of january
i quit my job at the end of january but then became swamped with pointless (literally) english work, which explains about mid-way through february
then when i've finally got some shit figgered out, and have a comic website coming up and everything my computer decided to be a dipshit which explains february through now.
hopefully i'll be back doin' mah thing by next week, but no guarantees T___________t

to all of my net friends, i apologize profusely and i'll be sending you all loverly e-mails this week because i miss you so.


good news(yay!):
~my scanner is roxolicious and can scan a pic in 6 seconds. it is also in my room so i can scan and color all in one place. meaning i can get artwork up 5 times as fast.
~i'm taking a break from work and i have a very easy school schedule.
~i'm feeling uber creative and my art style is now kewlness
~i'm getting back in to arty-art (as in traditional not just anime-crap)
~kazima and i have a comic website up and will begin posting once my comp is fixed XDDD


and the bad news: no, i don't k now why kazima up and left deviantart and i don't know when/if she'll be back. sorry guys, but i'm only her best friend not her conscience. mother. negro slave. lord and master(except for saturday nights)

sadly i missed the deadline to post holiday joy again. i'm dissapointed in myself and i feel like i dissapointed everyone else... *sighs* but, there is one rather plausible reason why this didn't happen...

I. unwrapped. a. SCANNER. *burst into fangirl-ish squeals and giggles* omgomgOMG!! soooo excited when i found out what that huge box under the tree was! that's actually the first time i've squealed over a present in years (cuz i hate presents, yo >_> ). so, as soon as we get this baby set up, which will probably be around wednesday, i can scan all the time any time every time i feel like! XD XD XD XD

as if all that weren't exciting enough, i actually have a holiday YGO fic planned out which i plan to simul-post here and on ff.net. trust me, it'll be a load of laughs and filled with grand, albeit a bit blasphemous, Christmas cheer.

i promise to chronicle the rest of my christmas celebrations in my livejournal, but i leave you with this: if you love all things yu yu hakusho you are going to be SO jealous of Kazima's present when it arrives XD!!

i think i actually lost brain cells watching that load of crap. you would've thought i'd quit after i watched boobs blow in the wind like strands of hair but i remained steadfast believing there to be some slightly redeeming quality about the series. and i was proven wrong many, many times. and that was only an episode and a half. my Lord i hate anime like that. unless you're a hentai fanatic who gets off on near-sexual encounters then don't even think about watching it. it's not even funny... *sighs*

i did watch most of the new appleseed tonight as well. that was freaking FANTASTIC! sure the story's good and all, but i was mesmerized by the artwork more than anything else. definetly something everyone should see at least once. and the boobies were realistic... not oversized and billowing in the breeze! *vein*

sorry this is just a random rant, but i was aggrivated. and i'm tired. and sick. *coughs* i swear i'll do art this week just not right this second. or tomorrow.
